The first convocation of Gandhara University, Peshawar is indeed a landmark in the history of this Institution. The Medical Education in Pakistan has always been known for its excellence. Many have or alumni of our Medical & Dental Colleges have established their reputation both at home and abroad. The Kabir Medical College for MBBS and Sardar Begum Dental College for BDS recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, Islamabad since inception (1995) of the Gandhara University, Peshawar are relatively new Institution but it has nevertheless. Established its excellence very quickly. The credit for this goes to its Founder, Chairman & First Chancellor of Gandhara University, Peshawar Late Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kabir managed for its excellence Faculties as well as dedicated staff and students who imbued with the spirit of National integration and love for the county to educate, guide and lead the youth to realize their potential and make sterling contributions to national development in the field of education.
Gandhara University in private sector aims to promote internal and external efficiency and academic freedom in its operations and to form a community of scholars in Medicines, Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedics, I.T and Management Science benefiting both the individual and society.
