The Chief Organizer of Sports and Social Activities, Gandhara University, Peshawar is making efforts for promotion of sports activities in the university with the support and close coordination of the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.
Annual sports week is regularly organized and executed by this society. Students participate enthusiastically in all the games. Facilities currently available at the campus include table tennis and badminton, while the outdoor games football, hockey, cricket and basket ball are organized by this society at the GIMS sports grounds.
The Gandhara University has participated in the First Pakistan University Games in 2004 and served as host for the Volleyball championship arranged by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, in February 2004.
