Farkhanda Institute of Nursing is a charity institute, which is supported by Gandhara University. The Institute is recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council and Board of Nursing Examination NWFP.

Farkhanda Institute of Nursing and Public Health provides Nursing and LHV diploma courses extended over a period of three and two years respectively, which conform to the requirements of Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). Students entering these programmes are required to have a minimum qualification of Higher Secondary School Certificate (Pre-Medical) or equivalent.
