This is the busiest department of the hospital which consists of 2 teams, where the theater operates 6 days a week. There is M&M meeting on monthly bases. The department has 1 head of the department and 2 assistant and 1 associate prof. The OPD is on daily bases, run in turns by the 2 units.

Surgery involves the treatment or investigation of injuries or disorders of the body by incision or manipulation by instruments and is often employed by many medical specialties. The Department of Surgery is a resource offering a full range of surgical services for all age groups. The department specializes in the management of the most complex patient.
